The 7th March was a very exciting day as it was the launch of our new library. This means that everyone in the whole school is now a member and can now take out a book of their choice. To celebrate this we had a whole school assembly. Mrs Houlston showed us lots of different objects and we had to use the clues to guess which famous story she was talking about. Our favourite was George's marvellous medicine where there was some shaving foam, shampoo, throat lozengers for horses and brown paint! During the day we also got involved in a range of book related activities.

We had a visit from Kathryn White, a children's author and everyone took part in a workshop based on one of Kathryn's books.

Some children across the year groups shared a story. It was great fun!
